Hiragana - Katakana - Kanji
Hiragana - Katakana - Kanji |
こんにちわ!私はフリスカです。どうぞうよろしくお願いします。
I try to learn Japanese here. So here are some words that I learn in N5 module. Hope to help you learn Japanese too.
In Japanese, there are
- ひらがな (hiragana)
- カタカナ (katakana)
- kanji
Hiragana
Hiragana is a Japanese syllabify, one component of the Japanese writing system, along with katakana, kanji and in some cases rōmaji (Latin script). The word hiragana literally means "ordinary" or "simple" kana ("simple" originally as contrasted with kanji).
Here is Japanese alphabet in Hiragana...
Katakana
The word katakana means "fragmentary kana", as the katakana characters are derived from components or fragments of more complex kanji. Katakana usually use for absorption words (kata serapan kalau dalam bahasa Indonesia). If you want to write foreign name, country name, you need to use katakana. For example if I want to write my name (Frisca), I need to write it with katakana = フリスカ (furisuka and it sounds like Frisca).
Here is Japanese alphabet in Katakana...
Katakana Chart |
For first learner, I need to memorize hiragana and katakana. I memorize it from a-i-u-e-o then ka-ki-ku-ke-ko and so on and so on. After memorize hiragana, I memorize katakana. To help me memorize it well, I use mobile apps like Duolingo and Lingodeer. Some of my friends used hiragana pro and katakana pro. But I already use Duolingo and Lingodeer plus Memrise too. Too much application for me to install if I install hiragana and katakana pro too. HAHA.
Here's some tips for you to memorize hiragana...
SAmurai |
さis like SAmurai's face. You need to imagine it to see さlike samurai's face. Hehe. So the opposite of さis ち (chi). You can also memorize it like number 5. ら(ra) is also like number 5. Then き (ki) is さ with two strip or you can imagine き like a KIte.
Another one is く(ku). It is like your mouth saying 'ku' from side view. む(mu) is like cow's face and say 'moo' like cow's sound.
Hard?? It is not if you like to learn Japanese...
Tips to memorize katakana...
I and many other friends hard to memorize シツソン(shi-tsu-so-n). It seems same but different when you write it. This image help me to remember it:
Sumber: PONGO |
To remember ソ(so), I always say it SOy because ソ looks like 'y' right? So the other is 'n' ン. Easy to remember that. But still difficult to remember shi and tsu. Haha.
Right now, I memorize it all. But if I read hiragana and katakana, I still spell it like a kindergarten student. Hehehe.
This is just a basic of Japanese. Still a lot to learn...
You can read my next post about learn Japanese here.
Kanji
Kanji are the adopted logo graphic Chinese characters that are used in the Japanese writing system. They are used alongside the Japanese syllabic scripts hiragana and katakana. Kanji is often use in Japan. Because it's more easy to write with kanji than just write it with hiragana and katakana. And have the right meaning. Hmm how to explain this...
For example, はな(hana) have two meaning. One for flower and the other is nose. So, if you write it just with hiragana, the reader will confuse. Is it flower or nose? So kanji play the useful role here. Instead of hard to memorize and write it. HAHA.
Another one...
It is shorter to write 私 (watashi) than わたし, right?
Japanese novel write with kanji is the book from left, while write with hiragana is from right.
Ok. It is for today's lesson. I hope in the future I can write another post for this blog in full Japanese. Amen everybody???? Amen...

Aku ga pernah belajar bahasa jepang sama sekali. Cuma suka makanannya aja. Haha
ReplyDeleteSeru ga mba belajar bahasa jepang ? Sejauh ini yang sering aku dengar cuma bahasa korea.
Oia salam kenal ya. Kalau berkenan follow back. Biar makin akrab. 😊
Kalau suka, pasti seru kak! Hehe. Daripada belajar Mandarin, aku lebih suka belajar ini. Padahal di Mandarin juga ada kanjinya..bahkan kanji doang...cuma yang bikin susah ada intonasi pengucapan gitu di Mandarin yang susah kuterapkan =.="
DeleteNah kalau Jepang tuh lebih mudah aja buatku hehe
Kalau korea pasti karena sering nonton drakor ya? Hehehe
Aku sudah follow back ya btw 😀
Makasih sudah mampir ^^
Menarik sih ini. Dulu aku belajar bahasa Jepang sebatas beberapa kosa kata sehari2. Tapi karna gak pernah dipake ya lupa hehe. Dulu aku lebih ke belajar mandari. Katanya sih menurut sejarah bahasa jepang mengadopsi dari mandarin
ReplyDeleteYup betul. Kanji dalam bahasa Jepang itu sama dengan kanji dalam bahasa Mandarin. Cuma memang beda cara baca dan bahkan kadang beda arti. Jadi sebenarnya kalau sudah menguasai bahasa Mandarin, akan lebih mudah belajar bahasa jepang
DeleteKeren banget jadi tau hiragana artinya simple. Next Bahasa jepang dari nomor 1 - 10 dong ka, buat melatih anakku, hihi
ReplyDeleteMakasih kakak 😀
DeleteWah makasih ya idenya buat next post! Nanti kucoba buat tentang itu yaa 😄
keren banget ngajarin pakai bahasa Jepang. Aku juga pengen nih supaya anakku nanti bisa bahasa Jepang. Makanya kubelajar dulu sekarang hihihi...
I really love to learn new language, japan language is one of I want to learn. After read this, I think japan language is not easy, haha. Thankyou for your information
ReplyDeleteNoooo. Japanese is more easy than Bahasa Indonesia! HAHAHA but yes, difficult to memorize the alphabet...But a lot of my friends can memorize hiragana and katakana in just two hours. So I think it's not difficult too HAHA
DeleteSaya dulu suka banget sama jepang, sampai bela-belain belajar bahasa jepang selama liburan sekolah. Belajar bahasanya, hiragana, katakana, kanjinya cuma beberapa karena susah, dengerin audionya, musiknya..😍
ReplyDeleteSampe merasa"wah saya udah fasih nih"
Padahal mah enggak.
Setelah lulus sekolah. Perlahan mulai lupa, tapi masih inget beberapa, karena masih suka denger lagu jepang dan nonton anime😁
wah ada yang sama nih!! 😆😆😆
DeleteTapi effortnya lebih gedean kaka. Hehe Soalnya aku masih belom fasih yawlaaa... Masih kurang vocab-ku
anyway
よろしくお願いします!
